Retrospective

Since this blog is going to be my HQ of Art work I might was well upload some of my old work. I hope this adds more of a 3d dimension to my online avatar without having to see my person.

I guess people say that a piece of you soul goes into your work. Maybe you might see the full picture of my soul if I upload a bomb of work. Maybe I might see my own soul.

So anyway these are my sculpture work:

The first one is reincarnation, created for a copper company which I came a runner up in. The brief was “recycle” using the companies copper waste. I based it on reincarnation, a sphere (perfect shape) recreating itself a new to live on.

I think it was created in the summer of 2007.

These are apart of my abstract expressionism works, which I created around about 2005 / 2006. It’s been awhile since I’ve looked back at that year so the dates are abit fuzzy. (Images touched up on photoshop due to photos shot on camera phone ^^’) click to enlarge! images seem out of focus from some weird reason.

up top is my work “acid jazz”, this was paint

ed on A0 with acrylics. I believe this was painted to music, envisioning what it would look like in form. The strokes should create movement of the vibrant music (listen with your eyes).

Next is “Tiger” (Acrylic paints and water on A0 paper) this photo doesn’t really do justice to its true being.

Next is “Control” (Acrylic paints and water on A0 paper). Over time the Acrylic paints have stuck to the paper when the piece is closed, its kinda added to a cool teared effect.

Now moving on to some prints I created round about 2005-2006

these were some what inspired by Jackson Pollock with his dribbling technique:

These are silk screen prints also create the same time as the other images.
